Turn your workouts into works of ART – Active Resistance Training, that is. With Synergee’s heavy duty, tough-as-nails Cast Iron Ruck Plates, it is simpler than ever to become a lean, mean, healthy machine. All you need is a bag that can hold 1 or more Synergee Ruck Weights – and then put one foot in front of the other and take them for a walk!

Forget the treadmill. Grab a friend or go alone; walk around your neighborhood or somewhere you’ve never been before; expand your brain and listen to a Podcast as you go; explore the world around you and burn 3x’s more calories than you would walking normally.

Too hard? Use a lighter weight. Too light? Add more lbs. It’s simple and effective and can be done anywhere. Rucking is especially awesome for people who hate cardio: if trying to get yourself out on a run is more painful than stepping on a piece of Lego, pick up a Synergee Ruck Plate instead. Burn calories and gain strength at the same time.

Ruck Responsibly!

Some tips that’ll keep you rucking merrily are:

⚬ Maintain good posture. If your shoulders and hip flexors need a break, and feel yourself leaning forward in response, your lower back is gonna be hurting in the morning. This is a sign that you have too much weight in your backpack. Like everything else you do that’s fitness-related, once your form starts to falter, ease off the weight. Good form is always king.

⚬ Make sure the weight in your pack is stable – it will get uncomfortable fast if it shifts with every step!

⚬ Set your backpack so it is close to your back, and higher up on your back over your center of gravity. It should pull your shoulders back into a comfortable, stable position; but the straps shouldn’t be so tight that they cut off circulation. Nobody wants that!

⚬ Don’t fill your bag with more than 1/3 of your bodyweight.
